We review and audit human resource policies and procedures, employee manuals, employment forms, drug policies, and employment practices for compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Additionally, we frequently review, draft, and negotiate severance agreements, noncompetition agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
If our clients do end up in court, we have extensive experience in administrative proceedings—such as Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Utah Antidiscrimination and Labor Division (UALD) proceedings, Department of Labor proceedings, and Department of Workforce Services proceedings—state and federal trials, and arbitration proceedings. We have successfully prosecuted and defended our clients in all forums on discrimination claims, Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) claims, wage claims, unemployment claims, and wrongful termination claims.
