With more than 10 years of legal and administrative experience, Carrie created her own business, Themis Administrative Support, LLC, in order to contract with local law firms in providing legal support and administrative services. Prior to starting Themis Administrative Support, she was the Business Manager for Smith Hartvigsen, PLLC, a mid-size law firm located in downtown Salt Lake City. Beginning in 2002, she first gained her legal experience while working as the Lead Clerk for Juvenile Court Judge Andrew A. Valdez. From there she worked as a legal assistant for Smith Hartvigsen, PLLC and later became Business Manager of the firm for the remaining two years of her employment.
Although, not a Utah native, Carrie and her husband consider Salt Lake City home sweet home and are happily raising two adventurous children. When she is not spending most of her time playing with her kids, she enjoys playing video games, watching movies and appreciating fast cars.
As with her driving preference, Carrie never takes the straight road but constantly challenges herself with the curve of life. She thrives on learning new things and overcoming challenges as they arise.
Carrie has assisted attorneys with many diverse practice areas. These include: Employment, Water Law, Municipal, Contract, Land Use, Real Estate, Personal Injury, Wills & Trust, Probate, Family Law, and Civil Litigation.
Carrie attended and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2000 with a dual bachelors degree in Sociology and Art (with emphasis on Digital Media). Go Wolfpack!
